The HP LaserJet Pro P1102w is the most energy efficient wireless laser printer on the planet. It can print from any room without using any cables and is simple to set-up as it is a plug and print with no CD required.
It can print up to 19 pages per minute and the first page prints out as fast as 8.5 seconds. It also has built-in wired networking, color LCD screen and has the option to expand the memory to handle complex print jobs with ease.
It also works well (and better than my wireless Lexmark printer that lasted all of two months, and that wouldn't print anything if any of the cartridges were empty (if one color was gone, you couldn't even print black).
Here are some great features of the HP LaserJet Pro P1102w:
. Built-in Wireless Printing
. Built-in Wired Networking
. Two-sided Printing
. Memory Card Slots
. Auto Document Feeder
I needed a simple, quick, versatile, flexible, inexpensive monochrome printer and this one floated to the top because of its manufacturing roots.
Here are some Real Customer Reviews for the HP Laserjet Pro P1102w printer:
I bought this printer to replace my HP 1000 Laserjet because HP provides no drivers for it for Windows 7. I was looking for an inexpensive laser printer to use at home as the 1000 had been for several years. The HP LaserJet 1102w fits the bill perfectly. It's much faster and produces clean, clear copy on most kinds of papers. When we go away for a week or more I don't like to leave things running, and the only way I could turn off the old HP 1000 was to unplug the power cord. The ll02w now has a power button! Of course, when not in use, it goes into a sleep mode that drains virtually no power, but it now can be turned off completely. The only problem I had was I had to use the install CD with my new Windows 7 machine because the computer only recognized it as a "device," not as a printer. When I installed with the CD it went right into the printer list on the control panel and worked perfectly. (Richard Armstrong)
I was so happy to finally get rid of all of my ink hungry inkjet printers. After doing a little homework I quickly discovered it was a lot cheaper to print color photographs at any photo developing store professionally than to print them at home. Not only is it cheaper but the pictures are much better quality and they won't fade or deteriorate over time. After you factor in the price of the ink, paper, and the fact that inkjet printers are junk and will wear out prematurely you will discover that it is extremely expensive to print photographs at home. Sure, you can stock up on ink and pretend to save money if you buy in bulk but then you'll find that your printer dies and you are stuck with ink that won't work in any of the new printers available on the market. Some savings huh? Now if you need to print in color for charts and graphs or another reason this printer is obviously not for you. (Nylox)
